The main elements of the production process of rubber products include three main steps – compounding, mixing and shaping. However, natural rubber and synthetic rubber follow two different chains of processes for manufacturing.
Natural rubber is created using latex found in plants and processed in numerous plants. The latex is extracted from plants using a process of coagulation. Synthetic rubber is created through a process of external mixing of rubber with other elements.
The first step of the process includes compounding, which refers to the addition of other chemicals and additives to rubber to customise it for specific requirements.
The next step is mixing when the additives and chemicals are thoroughly mixed into the rubber using upgraded technology.
The next step of the process is shaping the rubber compound. This can be done through several processes such as casting, calendering, moulding, coating and extrusion.

The manufacturing of rubber compounds and rubber technical parts is performed by using the most advanced equipment of leading European companies:
- heavy duty inner rubber mixer ‘Werner & Pfleider, type GK 45E with intermeshing rotors ensures high speed and qualitative compounding. The application of computerized monitoring of weighing and compounding processes (PKS-JBA control) provides data recording and backup at all stages of the compounding process.
